Verdure Decay Artist Book

Artist book studying flora life cycles and what flowers mean to us in their life and death. This is inspired by Victorian plant language, different ways to render flowers in different mediums, attempting to press and preserve flowers, the different speeds at which things break down and decay, and organic, naturally occurring shapes. I love the Nouveau art style of the early 20th century, and that influence is visible throughout the book, comparing that organically-inspired art style with actual organically occurring flora.
